traveling baby!

Big Ben and I have been on the move this summer(he definitely has)! We have traveled all over enjoying my summer vacation!

          First we headed on a cruise to Mexico :)

                                            
          A few weeks later we flew to Chicago!

From there we drove to Ann Arbor, Michigan for Brent and Cristina's wonderful wedding! 

Lastly, we drove to Destin, Florida for a beach vacation with the family! 

What a fun summer! I can't wait to see what next summer has in store for us! :)

We went to the doctor yesterday and got some awesome pics!  They turned on the 3D ultrasound and you can see Big Ben's precious face!! He now weighs over a pound and is measuring a few days ahead. :)  He's getting so big!

My brother and I were lucky enough to grow up with cousins so close in age we were more like siblings. Ben is going to be lucky enough to have the same! My brother and his wife are having a little girl in August, Scarlett Rose Elizondo.  We are all so excited to have 2 new babies within 3 months. We are also super lucky to have one of each...that makes shopping and buying matching outfits much more fun!

growing everyday!

It seems like everytime I look down the bump has gotten bigger! As of now I am 5 1/2 months pregnant, have gained 11 pounds(which still puts me 6 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight) and baby is measuring on time! Here's the latest bump picture!

baby on the move!

Well for the past few weeks I have been feeling something moving around. At first I wasn't sure what it was, but now I know it's definitely been the baby kicking and flipping around.  When we went in for our 20 week ultrasound he was definitely swimming all around.  It's such an amazing feeling to have him moving around. I was so excited and wanted Glen to share in that excitement.  Then the other day Glen was poking Ben trying to get him to move. Well, Ben didn't like that and kicked his daddy! I have never seen a more excited face on Glen. :) He is definitely getting stronger and I feel him more and more all the time!

what's in a name??

Who knew picking a name would be so difficult! After much deliberation and input we have finally decided on one....

Benjamin Marshall Tabor

We both really love this name! Benjamin is one of the few boy names we could agree on! We both love traditional names, and I think one syllable names with Tabor sound best (we will call him Ben).  Marshall is Glen's middle name, which we also love! We knew we had to find a first name that would go well with Marshall. I love it because it's not a "trendy" name that will go out of style, it's strong, and a name that will grow with him over the years.
