Doctors Visits

Well because I have hyperemesis (really bad morning sickness-but more on that later) I get to go to the doctor and see the baby every week!  That is definitely about the only perk of having to go through this morning, noon, and night sickness. Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks. It's amazing to see how much the baby has grown over just a few weeks.

This is from our first doctor's visit on April 8th. Glen and I both got to go to this one and cried like babies (haha) when we saw our baby(which looks more like a blob) and heard it's heart beat for the first time. It's such an amazing feeling.

Just one week later and the baby is getting bigger!

This appointment was amazing because I got to see little leg and arm buds and a head. If you look at the picture it's like the baby (which looks more like a gummy bear now) is standing up. The little black dots at the top of the head are the eyes!

This is the latest picture of baby! My how we have grown! It's amazing to know that when we found out about baby it was the size of a poppyseed and now it's bigger than a lime!

I've graduated and now get to go to the doctor every 2 weeks. My next appointment is next week so I'm sure there will be more pictures to post again soon! :)

Telling the world!

Well one night Glen was working an extra job until 4 am. I had to get up to go to the bathroom and I knew this was the day I could take a test....so I did. And much to my amazement a little plus sign popped up. I immediately texted Glen a picture asking him what does this look like to you?? Well of course it turned out to be positive and we couldn't wait to tell everyone! My parents were out of town (it was spring break) so I just had to tell someone. I texted my BFF Lauren the same pic and she called me and we both yelled in excitement. After that we really couldn't keep our mouths shut about it! There were plenty of phone calls and e-mails. We even bought "grandma" gifts for our moms to tell them! Needless to say...we were both pretty excited. I took a picture of the text I sent Glen and here it is! Don't mind my cracked phone....a late night morning sickness session got it knocked to the tile floor and cracked! Now I have created this blog to keep track of all the excitement in our new life!

The start of our story

On March 18, 2010 early in the morning we saw the much anticipated plus sign we had been waiting for! Our little family is growing and we couldn't be happier! Our little turkey is expected to arrive on Thanksgiving Day (November 25th)...this year we have something to be very thankful for!
